Today was a day of tranquility and serenity as I visited Nela Talab, a breathtakingly scenic pond nestled in the South of the city limits of Udaipur, Rajasthan. Surrounded by lush greenery and adorned with a couple of small islands, this picturesque location offered a much-needed respite from the chaos of everyday life.
As I embarked on this delightful adventure, I couldn’t help but marvel at the natural beauty that unfolded before my eyes. Nela Talab, known for its captivating charm, is a haven for both locals and tourists seeking solace in the lap of nature. The glistening surface of the pond mirrored the vivid tones of the lush foliage that enveloped it, composing a captivating symphony of colors that entranced all who beheld its beauty.

To reach Nela Talab, you can take a flight to Udaipur, Rajasthan. Udaipur, known as the City of Lakes, is a popular tourist destination and home to many breathtaking attractions. After landing at the Udaipur Airport, make your way to the city center. From the city center, you may hire a taxi to ensure a comfortable and convenient journey to Nela Talab.
The taxi service in Udaipur is readily available and offers a hassle-free mode of transportation. The friendly and knowledgeable taxi driver would provide valuable insights about the local area and ensure a smooth ride to the destination.
Alternatively, for those who prefer public transportation, Udaipur has a reasonably well-connected network of buses. The bus ride would allow you to enjoy the scenic views of Udaipur and its surrounding landscapes, enhancing the anticipation of reaching Nela Talab. Although the bus stop, CA Circle, is little away from Nela Talab, it’s just five minutes’ walk away.
